Terms of Sale
Last updated October 1, 2026
These terms apply to every order you place with Threadify Apparel (“Threadify”, “we”), online or by quote. By placing an order you agree to them, along with our Shipping & Returns policy and Privacy Policy. Everything we make is custom, so please read the sections on proofs and revisions, artwork, refunds, and our liability.
1. Orders and pricing
- Prices are shown before you pay: garments, decoration (priced per piece, per placement, with lower prices at 25, 50 and 100 pieces across your order), a setup fee per order (waived on orders whose garments and decoration total $200 or more), logo digitizing where it applies (refunded if we have already digitized the same design for one of your earlier orders), shipping, and sales tax.
- Garments are ordered from our suppliers after you pay. If an item is unavailable, we’ll offer the closest substitute or refund that item.
- If a price was clearly displayed in error, we’ll contact you before producing anything and you can accept the correct price or receive a full refund.
2. Proofs and revisions
- Before anything is produced, we email you a digital proof showing your design, size, colors and placement.
- Each logo includes up to 3 major revisions at no charge. A major revision is a change to the design itself: new or reworded text, adding or removing elements, a different layout, or reworking the artwork.
- Small adjustments don’t count toward the 3: changing the size or placement, swapping thread or ink colors, and fixing any mistake we made.
- After the third major revision, further changes to that logo cost $35 (the same as our digitizing fee), which covers up to 3 more major revisions. We’ll tell you before starting any paid revision and send a separate invoice; work continues once it’s paid.
- Replacing your logo with a different one is a new logo, priced and digitized as new.
- Production starts only after you approve the proof. Please check spelling, colors and placement carefully; we produce exactly what you approve.
- Placement can vary slightly from piece to piece (typically within about half an inch), thread and ink colors can look different on screen than in person, and very fine details may be simplified so they stitch or print cleanly. These are normal and not defects.
3. Your artwork and intellectual property
- By sending us artwork, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it on the products you order, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone’s trademark, copyright or other rights.
- You agree to be responsible for, and to cover our costs from, any claim that artwork you supplied infringes someone else’s rights.
- We may refuse any design that appears to use another company’s, team’s or person’s marks without permission, or that is unlawful or offensive. If we refuse a paid order, we’ll refund it in full.
- You keep ownership of your artwork. You give us permission to reproduce it only to make your order, proofs and reorders. We keep the stitch files we create for your future reorders.
4. Production time
Turnaround times are estimates and start once you approve your proof and your garments arrive at our shop. We’ll tell you if anything will delay your order. If you need it by a specific date, tell us before ordering; deadlines are only guaranteed when we confirm them in writing.
5. Changes and cancellations
- Before you approve your proof: you can change or cancel your order. Cancellations are refunded in full, minus any digitizing already completed and the setup fee if your garments have already been ordered.
- After you approve your proof: your order is in production and can’t be cancelled or changed, because it’s made specifically for you.
6. Refunds, reprints and defects
- Because every order is custom, we can’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizes ordered, or anything that matches your approved proof. Please check sizing before ordering.
- If we made a mistake or an item is defective, tell us within 7 days of receiving your order, with photos. We’ll reprint or replace the affected items, or refund them if a reprint isn’t possible.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method.
7. Garments, your own items, and care
- Garments: we decorate garments made by other manufacturers. Sizing and fit vary by brand and style, so please check each product’s size chart. Colors can vary slightly between the manufacturer’s production batches. Sizing, fit, shrinkage and fabric quality are the manufacturer’s, not ours.
- Items you supply: if we agree to decorate garments or items you provide, please include a few extras. Embroidery and heat pressing occasionally damage a garment. If an item you supplied is damaged during decoration, we’ll refund the decoration charge for that piece, but we can’t replace or pay for the item itself. We may decline items we don’t think will decorate well.
- Care: wash decorated items inside out in cold or warm water, tumble dry low or hang dry, and don’t bleach, dry clean or iron directly on the decoration. We aren’t responsible for damage caused by washing or care outside these instructions, or for normal wear over time.
- Safety and work garments: adding decoration to high-visibility, flame-resistant or other certified safety garments can affect their certification. If your workplace has safety requirements, it’s your responsibility to confirm the decorated garments meet them.
8. Shipping and pickup
Shipping, pickup and lost or damaged packages are covered in our Shipping & Returns policy.
9. Our guarantee and the limits of our liability
- What we guarantee: that your decoration matches your approved proof and is free of defects in our stitching or printing. If it isn’t, we’ll reprint, replace or refund the affected items as described in section 6. That is your remedy for a problem with our work.
- What we don’t guarantee: beyond that promise and the manufacturer’s own warranty on the garment, products are provided as they are, and to the extent the law allows we make no other promises, including implied warranties that a product is fit for a particular purpose.
- What we aren’t responsible for: errors in a proof you approved; the sizes, quantities or styles you ordered; the matters in section 7; delays covered by section 11; and how products are used after we deliver them.
- The most we owe: to the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for anything to do with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed event, lost profits or business, or reprinting other materials.
- Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for our gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.
10. Your responsibilities to us
You agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, from any claim made against us because of artwork, text or instructions you gave us, your breach of these terms, or how you use, sell or give away the products we make for you.
11. Events outside our control
We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by things we can’t reasonably control, such as supplier shortages, carrier delays, severe weather, power or equipment failures, illness, or government actions. We’ll keep you informed, and if a delay becomes long you can cancel the items not yet produced for a refund.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of King County, Washington, unless the law requires otherwise. Please contact us first; most problems are quickly solved by email.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version shown when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
